Fireman’s Bayonet by Carl Eickhorn with Frog and Portepee (32595)

Description Carl Eickhorn trademark.   Hilt fittings show age/wear with lifting and speckling throughout.  The reverse side of the lower fitting has the numbers “43” etched in it.  The blade is chrome and measures 9 ¾” from black buffer pad to tip of blade, has minor runner marks, no speckling or graying, and no nicks to cutting edge.  The black Bakelite grip plates appear to be in perfect condition and have all rivets intact.  The scabbard has a lot of scratches throughout and missing paint from normal age/wear.   The ball of the tip of the scabbard is smashed in slightly.   The black frog shows wear/age but not missing any of the stitching or rivets.  The portepee is tied to the frog and appears to show wear on the strap from age/wear.
