Vietnam Captain USN Mark 2 Knife These types of knives where primarily used in WW2 but after the war they continued to be produced by a variety of manufacturers. This knife looks to have been presented to an Captain, these alterations would have been done after the Vietnam war but this knife likely has a story to tell. It sis certainly not just some presentation knife but a battle used blade. The Marine Corps Insignia and the US Navy insignia seem to point this being given from one solider to another. These knives where used by US Navy Seals as well as SOG members which would have CIA operatives and those who’d served in the Marine Corps’ reconnaissance units.
