15th century Style Ear Dagger from the 19th century. These types of daggers are highly prized and sought after, most 15th century examples fetch high figures at auction. This dagger which originated from Spain, coincides with a variation of this dagger which has a slimmer profile and characteristics making it closer to a stiletto. The hilt is an all iron construction with no pommel, a cap with ears giving it’s distinctive characteristics. The handle appears to had some repairs at some point at one section.
