Spanish 15th Century Nasrid Ear Dagger This dagger is quiet a find in excavated condition. These dagger are seen in many paintings depicting the highest nobility and Kings carrying them on their belt. The dagger which is Spanish origins while missing the ears section is superbly rare. The Nasrid daggers are one of the rarest in the world. most intact great condition daggers sell for phenomenal prices, from tens of thousands to hundred of thousands. Having been privileged enough to own several of these daggers, while this is not in the best condition it is a wonderful example. It is possibly a fine restoration project for a collector who has always dreamed of owning one but the high price tag would make it impossible. The hilt’s design is a exposed tang with dark deer horn grips. These are original but have sustained damage and some pieces are loose. the exposed tang is grooved. The blade shows the tests of time and has a double edged design and is stamped. Here are other examples in the collection as comparison.
