Left Handed Dagger Flamboyant / Flamberge Blade This very desirable and rarely seen Left handed dagger fitted with a Flamboyant blade. These types of dagger are by far some of the most highly sought after. The dagger is stamped on one side of the ricasso, the markings are similar to other marking found on daggers from the 16th and 17th century. In this case it would be correct to say that the dagger dates from 19th century but it likely older. The hilt is very nice having pear shaped pommel, with wire wrapped grip and S shaped quillons with a side ring. The dagger has a double edge blade, with fullered ricasso and single fuller through the blade, which have multiple holes and perforations. The blade tip has been reprofiled.
