WW2 Japanese Steel helmet w Sumitomo Group Insignia An intact Japanese steel helmet with Sumitomo group insignia from WW2. The helmet is in excellent condition and is intact with original liner and ID number. The group had a large refinery and chemical plant in the city of Niihama at the time of the war. The plant was built for Military purposes to produce nickel, necessary for gun powder and aircraft engines. It was therefor a target of American Bombers.
