Description This hard cover set looks to have come from the library of William E. Fitzgerald. Walther Models PP and PPK 1929-1945 is signed by the author and Gary Green who assisted and looks to be from the second printing in 1976. It is 142 pages with a plethora of illustrations. Documented information in regards to Walther firearms is almost non-existent due to the destruction of the records by advancing allied Armies at the end of World War II. Therefore the information for this book came from many sources, including published data, gun collectors in the U.S., Germany and England, as well as citizens of West Germany who were in the German military during World War II. Walther Volume II includes Engraved, Presentation and Standard Models and is again filled with numerous illustrations. This book has slight moisture damage to the cover pages and slightly crushed at the bottom of the bound edge. Walther Volume III is from 1981, contains 226 pages and covers most of the Walther pistols from 1908-1980. The set is overall in EXC condition.
